Quinnlyn is at the awesome age right now where she is still so little but yet SO big. She talks up a storm, non-stop constantly, telling me all sorts of stories. She is also just SO funny... she always wants to hide, or play jokes and be silly. Her sense of humour is so great. She is absorbing things at a rapid pace, and she remembers everything and I am constantly shocked at the things she tells me. It's a really fun stage! It's also a REALLY busy stage - wow she is all over the place!... it seems that ever since she was born I keep waiting for it to get less tiring, less busy, less hard... and it doesn't, it just keeps getting more busy, more tiring and harder. But in a truly beautfiul way. It's a good life!
Here she is pulling everything out of the fridge one day because she wanted a snack and was getting all the things she likes - soup, ranch dressing, milk...
Family story time! I love the moments at the end of the day when the three of us are together, just hanging out and doing normal family stuff. This is my most favorite stage of life that we have been in yet. Listening to her giggle and be silly with us while we read or play is really the best sound! (when the giggles turn into angry tears, not so much my favorite sound haha!)
Quinnlyn always wants to take pictures... she is constantly asking for our phone so that she can either look at pictures of herself, or open the camera and take pictures. It's pretty funny how good she is getting at taking pictures... blurry, but her target usually ends up in the frame! Here is one of her dad
Gymnastics time! This girl LOVES gymnastics class. She is getting really good at balancing on one foot, jumping with two feet, holding herself up on the bar, and climbing out of the foam pit to name a few! Jon got to take her, and he said it was fun but hard for him because he's not flexible haha!We went down to Victoria for a night, and this girl was being so silly. She found the hat bin! What a smile.
On our way home we stopped at Bow Mel dealership because they were having a big sale, getting rid of this year's stock. We are interested in the Dodge Journey, so we got more information and test drove one and spend way too long in the dealership, which always happens. She did great but was getting bored at the end, as you can see haha! We figured that since we just bought a new house, that getting a new car right now too would be a bit too much. So we will keep looking and shopping around! Q is getting so big that she doesn't fit good in the back seat when all three of us are driving together. She needs my seat to be really far forward, so my knees are almost touching the dash. "Clown car" as Ben always calls it! It was great for us when we first bought it, but we didn't think about how little and tiny the backseat is!
I went out with Dana, Dixie and Mary that night... we went to Starbucks for coffee this time because Dana is a on a cleanse to help her guts out. Time with these three is always so good. I really look forward to our get togethers! Mary and I got a ride with Dixie and Eston came to go to the gym while we met - so when we were done, he got to drive home! My first time driving with a youth kid - surreal experience! He did awesome.
And then Sunday was our last small group in that house! We are doing small groups different this year, and not having them as often. Jessie came as the extra leader, and Aubrey came with! Cuties.
Love these guys and love having them in our home!
Later that week, Jon was home on wednesday because he switched his camp days because of a guest group, so he helped me with Hannah and Jacob! He is so awesome with kids, they love him. He gets down there and plays and is so patient and kind. I have much to learn from this man!She is such a little cuddle bug these days and I LOVE IT!!! I soak it all and take all the cuddles that she hands out! She always says "Im cold mama" and will walk around with a blanket wrapped around her shoulders or will come bury herself under my blanket. Love it!! But she also always wants to take her socks and pants off because "I SO hot!" So who knows if she's actually hot or cold haha!
These next two pictures cracked me up because her smile! That fake smile is so terrible and so awesome at the same time! This first one was one night that Lisa came down to help me finish up a bunch of packing!
And this second one was taken after gymnastics when we had a Booster Juice date! It was moving day, so we had no food at home to make since everything was all packed up! Her smile totally cracks me up. What a kid.
Can you switch her seat into the middle of the back seat so she has more leg room?
