September ends

Some shots from the end of September as we enjoyed the warm weather and our new kitty!

Jon and I youth lead on Tuesday evenings still... its really nice to go and just show up and not plan anything and not be in charge! But it also has some hard parts... overall though we love it. I am SOOOO thankful that we have an AMAZING community of friends that we have built, and every Tuesday Q goes to someone else's house. I have about 6-7 people who have said they will watch her for us and we rotate weeks based on what works for everyone. She loves it, somewhere new to play each week with people who adore her! Win win. Dixie is one of Quinny's favourites because she always takes her to the beach and she has Snoop to play with. Love my friends.

Cuddles with Dani any chance she gets!

Dani is so great with Quinny... she seems to love her, despite Q's overwhelming love haha. Dani seeks Quinny out and will go lay with her or want to play. It is pretty cute

This is the video that I took a snapshot of because it was so funny. This is how quickly the cuddles can change. Dani started attacking Quinny's foot and scratched her pretty good and she was so sad!

But back to cuddles minutes later! haha!

I got a phone call right around this time from the Fertility Clinic in Victoria saying that they recently hired another doctor, and they are taking on more cases, and they reviewed our case and saw us as high priority and got us in for the beginning of Oct! PRAISE THE LORD! We were SO relieved that it didn't take the year that was expected, and only took weeks instead!! What good news. A friend sent me this and I saved it to remind me that when things seem overwhelming and hard, the Lord is bigger and greater. There is such peace in that.

Jon pretends like he doesn't like the cats and he gets all annoyed by them... but then moments like this happen where Dani is rubbing herself on his arm, begging to be pet...

....and he gives in and pets her and talks to her. Jon, we know you are softer than you appear! :)

Her colouring is SO pretty. I love her little face

See that?! Face fully submerged during swimming lessons! So proud of this kid! She can also do the starfish and put her head all the way under. Such progress for my water baby!!

Quinny has learned to tie her hair back, because this is what Dani does - plays with it and eats it haha! Q is so gentle though and will let Dani do it until it hurts and then she will pull her hair away gently and tell Dani no. I love seeing her interact with the kitty!
