So Many Snow Days

Jon came home from his week away, and the next morning we woke up to a winter wonderland once again! I could hear their voices outside, and I saw them shovelling and brushing off the cars first thing in the morning. Sigh
 Snow Angel!
I know, funny that our "winter wonderland" means that as soon as you roll the snowball once, the snow is gone haha! Still, it was a lot of snow for us!

SOO HAPPY to be back together, where we belong!!!! Home is not the same without Jon.
Yep, that about sums it up haha
Our snowman has a toque, and is snow shoeing haha! I love my family.

Jon made her a pretty sweet fort when they were out there early in the morning. He is the best dad. She is a lucky kid to have him!
Time to head to Victoria for Madi's birthday party! She turned four on Jan 17th. I can't believe she is 4... these girls are growing SO FAST! Care rented out this awesome center, where there was a gym with a inflatable course, and lots of equipment for the kids to play on. Then we went to another room where there was little kids table/chairs set up and ate hot dogs and cupcakes! It was great, the kids loved it.

 Superhero Tattoos!
She looked great!

Happy birthday sweet Madi!!! We love you and love watching you grow into the goofy, vivacious, adorable girl that you are!
Best Cousin Friends! Big hugs!!! So much love!

Lois was babysitting the next day, and we decided to stay down for Sunday, because we had an early morning fertility appointment on Monday, so that meant the cousins got a whole day together!!

Nannie makes the best hot chocolate with marshmallows

Time for a matinee movie! We went to see Sing, which was pretty cute! The girls love being together, so it was just a fun day!
Back home Monday morning, and there was MORE SNOW! Sheesh!!! I mean, I love snow, and i love playing in snow... but the island has totally changed me, and I like snow in SMALL DOSES! haha
We colored a picture together, and its been a while since we actually coloured a colouring book picture together... I was so surprised! She is really good at staying in the lines. She coloured the dark parts of the dog, the ears, and the red circle! Pretty awesome for 3! She loves art projects.
The evening Jon once again showed his awesome dad colors, and made Q her own little sledding hill right behind our house! He set up spot lights on the hill so that we could see. Pretty awesome.

Then she tried snowshoeing with kid set of snow shoes that we borrowed from Sharon. Yep, there was enough snow in our yard for her to snowshoe! There really was a lot!
Back down to Victoria a few days later for another fertility appointment, and it snowed so much that they called it a snowy, and everything closed! So no school for Aimee, Calea and Lois! We stayed and played all day!

Love these fun sister in laws of mine!

I LOVE this picture of them! So adorable! Quinny and Auntie Mimi

Back home giving cuddles to her kitty. Quinny loves all these snow days more than the rest of us, she gets so excited about it haha. So I guess that makes up for it... that and the fact that we consider -2 freezing cold ;)
