Camp Girl!

Excited faces on Saturday to be back together!
Another shot that I took from Jons phone from Expedition camp. He's paddling here with a camper and I couldn't believe how beautiful the scenery was! What a cool week for those campers
Wild 3 has started! Quinny wanted to run around when she saw the campers playing Predator/Prey so we gave her an orange tag - disease or natural disater. No one can kill the orange, but they can tag whoever they want. We called her the disater of a "slow moving landslide" haha!  She loved it
Walking with Aaron who is caving leading again this week!
Snuggling in our cozy bed in the trailer. It's hard to get her out of this bed!
I'm applying for a new job, so she played with Lisa while I sent in my resume and all the documents. Lisa braided her hair and then put it in a bun, so cute. She was trying to then return the favor
Later that day she watched Alicia do her hair and wanted hers done again. So Alicia French braided it and it looked amazing!!
She's such a big kid here! Just sitting with the campers, listening to the rules of the game
This made me laugh one night when k went to bed - think the pets are ready for bed too?! Both waiting to get in
Bedtime has still been a bit tough - she's having major seperation anxiety and needs the door open, and to know that we are right there. She also is ending up in our bed most nights. But with all the changes each week and the constant moving around and never being home, she's been amazing. She handles it so well and just rolls with the changes. So I can give her the love and comfort she needs at nighttime. Once fall hits we will work on settling into a normal routine again.

On canoe instruction and game day, Quinny did NOT want to be left behind! We were in the trailer and she saw jon and the campers at the beach and started yelling "Daddy! Me come, boat! Me come!" And ran out the door towards them, grabbing her life jacket on the way! So we put a bathing suit on her and strapped the jacket on and told her she needed to sit nice and listen really really good. She hopped in the boat and spent the next almost three hours on the water with the staff and campers!! She was so good, jon said! She sat nice and cheered and clapped during tug a war and listened while they gave instructions and just happily chatted to whoever was around. At one point she even asked to go in Alicias boat so they transferred her and she was so stoked! It's awesome to see her loving things like this. I spent my free time in the kitchen with Aimee - she meal prepped and I make Olaf arms for the big birthday party this weekend!
In the giant Arc canoe in their way in! She was calling my name and waving and laughing. It was soooo cute to see her so excited about helping daddy work

That evening we played capture the flag - I was in my favorite spot as jail guard, handing out tasks for them to complete (instead of being tagged by a teammate, we play that you just need to complete whatever task I give you and you cons be free. Some tasks are pretty hilarious.). Jon strapped her on and played with her! They were both so sweaty and gross when we were done. But they both also loved it. Jon is so stoked that Q is starting to be able to do camp stuff and that he can take her along for certain things. It's pretty awesome. She is one happy camp girl! (And yes that's her Frozen Anna doll in her arm while she plays capture the flag. No baby doll can ever be left behind!)
