Victoria Days

I love that we can come to Victoria when camp gets too busy and Jon gets too busy and have it feel like home. We have settled into a pretty regular routine of spending one or two nights a week here when Jon is doing caving or rappelling or overnight canoe trip with campers - activities where they are gone all day or even overnight. Lois makes me feel welcome and its just easy here. Here are some shots from last week when we came

Girls playing in the pool with Auntie Hanna!
Box fun! They recently repainted the boxes so they look fresh and the girls just love to play in them
Papa took her out to the park one day and sent us these. I think its so cute when she hangs out with her Papa. He clearly adores her. My Grandpa was (and still is!) so important to me, and I love that she has a Papa who loves her that way.
Climbing! She is getting so strong and so brave. Her legs are starting to show muscles (little tiny ones, but still muscles!) and that makes me so proud of her but also so sad! Chubby baby legs are my favorite. She is just growing leaps and bounds every single day!
Neil was in town so we hit up Costco on Thursday to get the food for Q's party on Saturday, and then we went for dinner. I didn't take a picture!! Ugh! But it was SO nice to spend some time together!! I can't wait for the day when he lives out here and we can see him frequently!!
Since we were just at Costco on thursday, I opted to not go on the traditional family friday Costco day and stay home to bake cupcakes and start getting things ready for the next day! Here is Q eating her hotdog with Stef!
We let her open one present on Friday night - it was big and looked fun! It was from Alicia, who is so thoughtful and sweet, and got her a present! A giant Frozen colouring book and markers. She wanted to color right away so we let her :) So fun!!
