On Sunday we headed to Coombs after church, because Tay wanted to get a few packs of the special Root Beer and Chemainus doesn't sell them anymore. As Jon drove we took some funny snapchats
We had plans of walking around Little Qualicum and seeing the falls and having a picnic in Parksville... but it was pouring rain. Sigh! With our plans thwarted, we left Coombs (with the Root Beer - success!) and headed to Nanaimo. On the way, both Tay and I texted my dad and bugged him about buying us dinner (I had just found out that Taylor has a credit card that she uses and he pays off... what a set up for her!). He laughed at us and said he would be happy for us to go out together and that we better make it a good dinner... so off to the Keg we went! This was Q's face when she drank her drink and realized I ordered her water and not Iced Tea like she asked for... haha! Little did she know that I actually ordered both, the water just came first. She scowled at me, but then drank her water because she does actually really like water. Goofball!
Taylor was texting away so Jon and I pulled out our phone and made fun of her. But it was such a good dinner... man I love a good steak!! I only drank water and ordered vegetables with it, but was still amazed in how gross I felt in the hours afterwards! Eating clean really is so good for my body, and when I stray from that its crazy how quick I feel it! But it was worth it!
Henrik loved Taylor too and rarely left her room
My first full four weeks! I did all my workouts and stuck to my plan! Phase 1 over!
6:30am workouts! Its unbelievable the amount of support and encouragement this guy gives me. Working out with him and eating clean and healthy together has been a really great journey. I am SO lucky to have a man who get fully behind me in and jumps in happily!
Waiting for swim lessons to start! I love watching this girl swim with the big kids
She spends hours filling up buckets, and re arranging them, and moving them around. Here she was filling her buckets with rocks, which she called her flowers "slourers" is actually how she prononces it, since she still struggles with the "f" or "ph" sounds in words. Then she took her little watering can and was watering the 'flowers' so that they would "grow so big and pretty!". I love her imagination.Family dinner at camp that night! I made two clean eating dishes - one was a apple salsa and pita bread, and the other was a greek layered dip. Both turned out great! The power balls were for us - we are loving the balls! Such an easy snack and energy booster!
I had to work that afternoon so these guys hit up the beach!
We all went to Andy and Jennie-Lynne's and had a great dinner with just the staff families. On the way home Q says "Jennie-Lynnie make such a good dinner, my tummy is SO happy!" Super cute. We spent the rest of the evening playing Bohnanza and chatting and laughing lots
Taylor left Tuesday morning and these two spent the morning playing and being cute before she left. Q calls her "Tayder" and its super adorable. So much love here!
She was sitting there waving as Tay drove away, yelling "Bye bye Tayder! I miss you! I luss (love) you! Bye Tayder!" Adorable and so sad! A great visit with a sweet girl.
