We got up and ready and drove up the Coombs - everyone always seems to love going to Coombs when they come here to visit! We got ice cream... The best ice cream we had all week! I
We hit up the beach next - we were going to stop for just a minute because the weather wasn't looking good but ended up being great while we were there! We were sad we didn't have bathing suits on! But still fun to walk along and play in the shore. LeeAnne was the funniest at the ocean - the tide totally blew her mind and she could not believe how quickly it changed.
Quinny wanted to be just like the big girls!
Opps... A bit out of order! The biggest ice cream I've ever seen a little girl have! She ate the whole thing. This kid LOVES ice cream!
Exploring around Coombs
Love these people so much!
My favorite little beach girl!!
Sad that Larry wasn't there with them
Momma :)She slept hard on the way home! The beach tuckered her right out
She collected a bunch of shells at the beach and wanted to paint some for Papa because she knew his birthday was the next day. So cute! Brooke helped her outShe is such a beauty
We had such a good day together. I feel so very blessed to have a family that I'm so close with and love this much! Cousins are just so special and I adore mine!!
It made me laugh that these two also were knocked out on the drive home! Everyone was pooped haha!
We had a lowkey evening at home and played a lot of games - everyone played and it was hilarious. Jacob lost and he had to pour water on his own head (don't ask). We were hoping mom or LeeAnne would lose because it would have been way funnier but this was still good haha
On Tuesday morning Q and I headed to Chemainus on our own while everyone had a lazy morning so that we could go to Adalee's 2nd birthday party! I can't believe this girl is 2 already. What a sweet joy she is. It was a fun, cute party with all little people and their moms. Mary froze erasers in mini blocks of ice that the kids had to hammer out using the toy tools. And fishin time! They had two goodie bags for each kid, with their names on them because Mary made the bags personalized for each kid. So thoughtful! Q loved doing this!
Ady got a jeep and took her friends for rides! She even let Quinny drive once. I had flash forwards to their 17th birthdays when they would be driving away in real cars... Oh my dear. What a thought!
Quinny went right in and played with Alexis the second we got home. She spent tons of time this week in the office where the girls were sleeping. They liked having her in there so win win!
A rare time that we saw Jon! He's been so busy with summer starting, but Wildside didn't start for a few more weeks, so he was still coming home in the evenings when he could! I'll take any time with him that I can get :)
She LOVED walking Meeka everywhere. These two were good buddies the whole week!
Haha typical!! Silly faces and photo bombing
I appreciate this man so much. He works so hard but always comes home happy to see us and gives us even more time and energy. He is never too tired to play with her or come do stuff with us. (Or maybe he is, but he doesn't say that!)
Love these girls IMMENSELY! It was just such a joy having them around. We played games in the evening and went on adventures in the day... They are so sweet and all around amazing girls.
