We left on Sunday after the Classic to head to Gordon Bay to go camping for a few days. I picked Gordon Bay when we first talked about camping with them while they were here because it's so close to Imadene and Jon could come in the evenings and leave in the early mornings, and we would at least get to see him a bit! It unfortunately rained and was pretty dreary most of the time we were there, which really made camping a lot less enjoyable. We ended up packing up on Wednesday, a day early, and heading home. But we still did have fun and I'm glad we went
Helping Grandma back the truck up and VERY pleased about it!
Evening walk with the love of my life. He was so busy this week, but still made time for us when he could. I appreciate that so much about him.
We went for a walk without the Tula - big mistake! This girl wanted to be carried and her Grandma carried her, but she sure is heavy! This is why I travel everywhere with that thing haha.
In Coombs the week before, my mom and I went in together and bought a hammock - so comfy!! Jon hung it up for us at the camp site and it was awesome to have it
Sleeping beauty all tucked into her sleeping bags. Notice the chicken also came with camping - she loves that chicken haha! She is so sweet.
She is getting SO good at using this strider bike! I was so glad we took it camping, we walked/biked all over the campground a few times a day
"I don't like cooked marshmallows, I just like raw ones!"
At camp visiting Daddy and getting quick quad ride!
He was up early, worked all day, had a nasty head cold, and still came over and within minutes of being there, grabbed the BBQ and started making dinner and cooked for all of us. He really does amaze me with his servant heart.
Teaching her about stars and the moon and who knows what else. He is full of information, and she is an eager learner
Jon needed to train his staff a bit more on the rock climbing site, so Mom and Trevor and the kids got to go rock climbing. They also climbed the mountain - big day! I hung out with Q at the trailer while she napped and read my book and relaxed :)
Adventure time! Jon took us out on the logging roads one evening and then went for a little hike out to Paradise Falls. Love this spot!!!!
Taking the swing across the river! Jon is pulling the cord to get us across
Here goes Stephen
Beautiful spot! And freezing cold water!
Love my momma so much. Having her around is so good.
Playing Candyland with Grandma! My mom is such a good Grandma... she is patient and fun and engages with Q on her level and gives her all of her attention
More pictures from the Paradise Falls hike
We packed up the next morning and headed home, but we had a good few days together being outside and having adventures! (and one more ice cream cone!)
