Picking up where I left off! Trevor and his kids arrived late at night on Brooke's birthday, and then LeeAnne and the girls left the next morning. It was a full house for that one night! 6 adults, 4 teenagers,1 toddler, 2 dogs and 1 cat!! Good thing we have our new, awesome house :) On Saturday we headed to Victoria for the 11th Annual Croquet Classic!
It made me laugh when my mom sat here - she just sat there for a while and watched all of us just hanging out. I often sit in that exact same spot at home, which is weird, I know. But there is something comforting about sitting there - you feel out of the way, but you can still see what is going on. I mostly sit there when I'm feeling sad or stressed and just need a minute.
Hanging out with Stephen
These two goofs went right to the playhouse to play together when we got there
It was a rainy day, and I played one of the first games, so Jon stood beside me and held the umbrella haha! What a good man
Trophy and jacket all set out and ready!
Before the Classic, we stopped at Uptown and Jon got a haircut - here is the before shot!
And after! So handsome! (I actually really like his longer hair, I think the curls are great, when he puts product in them and tames them! But when it gets poofy, it's crazy!)
This was a high stress moment!! I won both my round robin and second game and made it to the finals and was so excited! It was looking like Nate or I would win, and then Mitch (Calea's friend who made it to the final game by being a wildcard) came out of nowhere and beat us! It was fun and I laughed lot - such a great game. I was happy for him, but sad for Nate and I! We were both so close!
The annual baby picture! I love these pictures each year! Madi Lampard, Jo Regelous, Raya Robertson, and Quinnlyn Lampard in November 2013 and then again in July 2016
I just love that these families have known each other for so long, and have been friends long before any of these girls were thought of, and now they will be lifelong friends. So special
Crazy Dads!
I think they all enjoyed themselves and it was fun to have them there!
Quinny was exhausted with no nap and a really full, fun day! She fell asleep in Calea's arms. Auntie Calea LOVES the cuddles so it was a sweet moment for the two of them
Out like a light and snoring hard on the drive home. So very sweet. Love this girl so much
Ashley posted this picture later on to her Instagram of the little people and I LOVED it! Look at those huge smiles, holding their water - they look like little adults just socializing. Oh man, so very cute!!
It was such a great day! The Croquet Classic is a day that all of us Lampards look forward to for months, and it's just such a great event to bring together so many people that we love!
