I had my first shift at the youth center this fall on Thursday.. same old boring shift, good money. Jon sent me this of Q watching the leaders debate for the upcoming election. He sent it with the caption "its never too young for her to become informed" haha.
Friday was Quinny's first gymnastics class at a real gymnastics club! She saw all the equipment and the foam pit and instantly got SO excited. The rules were that she had to have bare feet and her hair pulled back, with no bobby pins. So I bundled it all back up in a pony - its so cute like that! I couldnt take pictures during the class because we were so busy the whole time, but it was really fun. She was super quiet the whole time, and would only talk to me. But she listened very intently and did everything that the coach instructed. I was really proud of her! Coach Fran said that she is a really strong girl. Yay! I am excited to watch her grow with this class. It was busy! She was really tired by the time it was over. We are looking forward to Friday mornings together here!I left her with Jon for the afternoon and went to work on the youth room. She didn't nap at all for him, despite being so tired after her class! So he let her stay up because he figured she would nap in the car on the way to Victoria.... and sure enough! She was out like a light before we even left Chemainus!
They took me right downtown so I could meet up with the girls for Marika's bachelorette! I could only go to the dinner part sadly, because we had an event at the church early the next morning so I had to drive back home. But I was so honoured to be invited. I love that they want me around and invite me even when the guest list isn't that big. I love this girl and I am so excited to watch her get married!! Lisa made us all these pretty crowns (it itched my head though). We drank bellini's and laughed lots... such a great bunch of girls.
While I was there for those few hours, Jon went to his parents house with Q. Everyone was there and they had a family dinner together. This picture they sent me is totally adorable. Look at Q's huge smile, just so stoked to be there and so happy to be sitting beside her cousin aha. Goofballs!
This was from earlier on in the day when Jon was trying to get work done and Q wouldnt nap... she was overtired and grumpy. She threw a fit about nothing and laid across the chairs like this! I was impressed when I saw this picture on her abs! Talk about a plank haha!!
They picked me up and we headed home around 930. She fell asleep on the way home and I had to take this... her hair all pulled back, wearing her pjs.... she is so small and yet SO big. It really does amaze me with how fast it all goes
