Home

Home this week has been so so so so so nice. Its been cold outside which makes it easy to be here and not wish I was at camp or down in Victoria. Imadene is running its last camp of the season this week, so Jon has been driving back and forth, which is awesome because I love that he is home at night! Quinny and I have been working hard on getting our house back in order (so many cobwebs! Gross!) and just spending time nesting. Yesterday before nap time, she curled up on her couch with her blanket and babies, and tried to convince me to let her nap there. The video is pretty hilarious. I won, and she napped in her own bed :) Also, on Sunday night she slept ALL night long! 8pm-820am! She's been napping pretty consistently for 2 hours or more also. So nice!!!
She thinks that if I can't see her face, I must not be able to see her at all, and that I will let her nap on her couch instead of her bed. Hate to break it to ya girl, but thats not how it works :)
Last night she was up a lot between 2-4, not wanting to sleep in her crib. But I have hope that soon she will be back to normal patterns! We were going to meet Mary and Ady at the church today because Mary had a few things to do there, and Jen has worked hard to switch around all the rooms, so the girls could play in the brand new toddler nursery! I told her to go get her shoes on, and she came back to me like this - shoes on but on the wrong feet. She was so pleased with herself, but kept saying "Owie" so I helped her fix it
We taught her this week how to play a new game - she rolls the big soft dice, and then picks a card from that color pile and does what the card says. The instructions are all simple, and the cards are big with pictures also, so its easy for her to understand what to do. Its an awesome game for teaching her colors and for having fun and doing the silly things that the cards say. Since we taught her, she's been asking to play it tons "pay game pease Mama" and she will grab it and start to set it up. So cute!
Park time with Daddy before bath and bedtime! These two love playing together.
She was laying on my legs and being silly, and we were laughing super hard as we sang funny songs. Jon came and joined. I love this time right before bed, just the three of us being silly.

I also this week have went with our realtor Michael and looked at a few different houses. Some are more promising than others. I so badly want a home of our own, but it still seems quite far out of reach. But looking is fun! I like seeing what is all out there. I love Chemainus and its quaint charm that shines through the homes here.
