One morning last week she woke up and she was cold (since she refuses to wear pjs to bed and just sleeps and runs around in her undies), so she went and grabbed her slippers. I called her for breakfast (see my pretty new stools?! We love them. They are perfect) and she comes to get up and says "oh I so toasty warm now". LOL! Guess all she needs is slippers to be warm!
And then she asked to watch "The ABC Bear Show" Which is a Leap Frog show on Netflix that talks about the ABCs and different sounds each letter makes. I told her she could watch for a bit while I finished getting ready - she crawled into my bed with the iPad and her smoothie and made herself cozy. I love (just not at 3am) that her favorite spot in the house is my bed. There is something about laying on mom's side of the bed that just feels comforting.
Then we headed down to the boardwalk so she could ride her bike. On this day, she picked out her own outfit, including the dress, boots and jacket.
Still needs to keep practicing, but she is getting good on her bike! She will sit now and push - before she would just stand over it and walk it, too afraid of falling over to sit down. She does thing at her own pace and can't be pushed - once she feels comfortable, she will go full steam ahead with no fear, but she has to test the waters and get there on her own first.
She asked to go to the beach, so we went down there and right away she wanted to look for crabs
She said "Mommy I take picture you pease!" So I handed her the camera and this is what she took ha
My turn to take one of her :)
Little Crab Hunter
(I've been wearing glasses constantly lately because I ripped my last pair and I can't order anymore until I get my eyes checked, they won't let me! And we aren't sure if we have eye coverage, so Jon is checking into that. In the meantime, I'm stuck wearing my glasses every single day which I don't love!)I took the funniest video of her - she says to me "I singing to the birds and ocean Mom" and starts belting out Let It Go as loud as she can, waving her arms out towards the ocean. Totally hilarious! She also was convinced that the seagulls were saying her name - the noise they make, she hears "Quinn" - she cannot be convinced that they aren't talking to her, so I just let her think what she wants because its so cute.
Mary and I took the girls to the park on a rainy Wednesday. We all ran around a lot and had races. The girls loved it
Thursday I had to work late and Jon had a few meetings, so Mary watched Quinny. She put this up on her instagram and it melted me!!! Best friends!
She's doing the dishes here - She rinses them all, and fills the sink and uses the rag and then sets them aside to dry. I need to watch closely or else I will forget which ones are actually still dirty! (just kidding)
Smoothie face! I am realizing that we drink a LOT of smoothies in our house. I use the magic bullet, but its just way too small and takes forever to make everyone a seperate smoothie. Time to upgrade to a bigger blender!?
Using the potty like a champ. She is amazing with potty training, it was such a breeze! Way to go kid!
i have the nutribullet for you!!!! Will get it to you this week darling!! xoxo
