Oak Bay Marina

On our way to Abbotsford we stopped at Ikea and bought some new things for the house. One of our purchases was this new bedding - I am in love. Its SO cozy and looks so pretty. Lucky me that I have a husband who lets me do what I want decor wise and doesn't mind the purple and flower design. Love it!
We left Ben and Shayna at our house for a few hours while we went down to Oak Bay Marina to meet up with the rest of the family for a Sunday Brunch courtesy of Hazel. If you have never been to the Oak Bay Marina for their Sunday brunch, GO! It's really pricey, but OH SO GOOD! It's a fancy place, so it was kind of nice to dress up a bit and go out
Quinnybear of course was very excited to see her cousins. Her love for them is so sweet.
Love my girl. (look at her hand. She is always trying to sneak her hand into my shirt, because she says "mama it so warm in there!". haha
Such beauties! I look shots of Q from behind and you can really see her curls. Her hair is unreal
Auntie Mimi (Q is the only one of the girls that calls her that, but I like it, so it sticks haha) entertained the girls and was happy to hang out with them during the brunch. They did really well in the restaurant. Did I mention how amazing the food is?! The Lampards have done this brunch a couple of times with Hazel but it's hard for us to make it on a Sunday, so we were VERY happy to able to get there this time!!
Afterwards Makenna wanted to feed the seals, so Jon and I bought Q a bag of fish also and went down to the docks so the girls could feed them. Quinny was right into it, loving it! She was giggling and tossing the fish into the water. I got a video of her saying "oh the seals just so cute! I luss (love) them!"Adorable.
Here she said "daddy these seals lookin at me!" haha.
Madi was a bit timid to throw the fish, she didn't want to grab them. She watched Quinny do it and then she went for it. And when she did, a big seagull came and snatched the bag of fish right out of her hands and flew away! She was about to cry, but Quinny says "its okay Madi! I share my sishies! (fishies)" and handed her the bag without being asked. Moments like that melt me as mom, seeing her in action using the lessons we work so hard to teach her. That perked Madi up, and the two of them then had a great time tossing the seals some fish. However at the end a seagull (there were so many of them!!!) swooped down and wacked me IN THE FACE with his wing and stole Q's fish and bit her finger! Yikes! Thankfully she thought it was funny and just laughed about it. Love this kid and her good nature.

Time to go, and Q just kept saving and saying "Bye bye seals! See you next time!" So cute.
Trying to get a good picture of these three is quite hilarious and not an easy task. Good thing they are so cute and the picture are just funny
Madi is being crazy and yelling, not sure what Kenna is doing, and Q is of course being silly and sticking her tongue out haha. What goofballs. They are so funny. Love these girls so much.
