New Years Day Family Fun!

The next day we all got up and had breakfast together - Q helped her Grandma cook haha. Mom and Trevor thought it was pretty funny how she pushes a chair around all over the place to get where she wants to be
Then everyone was meeting at the outdoor rink to play some family shinny hockey. I didn't bring my skates and we don't have skates for Q, so her and I sat out with Shelby while everyone else played. A few more years and we will be out there too!

It was such a beautiful day out!! Bright and sunny. People out here make fun of the prairies because of the cold and snow - even I do because I don't love the cold! But the people here have NO idea what real sunshine is on a perfect winter day. Even sunny days here are not like sunny days on the prairies. I just wanted to stare at the sun and soak in all that Vitamin D that my body craves!!
Brandon took her for a little skate around the ice - how cute are these three?!

Love you! And I love that you fit in perfectly with my family.
Grandpa and Brandon. Grandpa is wearing one of Brandon's old jerseys
Are they not the coolest?! How fun that they played outdoor hockey on New Years Day! I forget what life used to be like! It's nice to go back and remember!
Me and my girl wearing our new matching Christmas leggings! Love it! haha! We went to Neil's house in the afternoon to spend time as a family with him and Grandma Doris
Just pretending to sleep haha

The many faces of Quinny and Mommy.

I didn't take many pictures while we were there, but we had chinese food and played games - it was so nice! We made Grandma Doris a photo album with "real" pictures (not a photo book, an actual photo album) of Q from the day she was born until now. She told me once that she didn't have any actual pictures of Q to take to her red hats group of friends, just picture frames and digital ones. So I was really excited for her to open it - she loved it! :) Q was definitely losing steam fast by dinnertime thanks to her late night the day before, so we headed home at her bedtime to get her to bed. Such a good day full of family.
